1. Who I am

This website, hasanmehedi.com, is run by Mehedi Hasan, an independent Google Ads and conversion tracking specialist based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. In this policy, “I”, “me” and “my” refer to Mehedi Hasan, and “you” refers to anyone who visits the website or contacts me about my services.

I am the controller of the personal information collected through this website. You can reach me any time using the details in the Contact section.

2. Information I collect

Information you give me

• Quote and contact forms: your name, email address, WhatsApp or phone number, website, the service you need, your monthly ad budget and anything you write about your business.
• Reviews: your name, email address, star rating and review text. Your email is never published.
• Direct messages: anything you send me by email, WhatsApp, Upwork, Fiverr or social media.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data: pages visited, time on site, referring website, approximate location (city or country), device and browser type, collected through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
• Technical data: IP address and server logs kept by my hosting provider for security and performance.
• Cookies: small files explained in Cookies and analytics.

Client account data

When you hire me, you may give my manager account access to your Google Ads, Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Merchant Center or other ad platforms. I access that data only to deliver the work you asked for. See Client accounts and data.

3. How I use your information

• To reply to your enquiry, prepare a free plan or quote, and talk about your project.
• To deliver, manage and report on the services you hire me for.
• To send invoices and keep business and tax records.
• To display reviews you choose to submit, after a quick moderation check.
• To understand how visitors use the website and improve it.
• To keep the website secure and prevent spam and abuse.
• To meet legal obligations.

I do not use your information for automated decision-making, and I do not add you to a marketing mailing list unless you ask to join one.

4. Legal bases for processing

If you are in the UK, the European Economic Area or another place with similar laws, I rely on these legal bases:

• Contract: to answer a quote request and deliver services you hire me for.
• Legitimate interests: to run, secure and improve my website and business, in ways you would reasonably expect.
• Consent: for optional analytics cookies where consent is required, and for publishing your review. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Legal obligation: to keep financial and tax records.

5. Cookies and analytics

The website uses cookies for basic functions, caching and analytics. Analytics is managed through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, which help me see which pages are useful and where visitors come from. Google may process this data under its own privacy policy.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, delete existing cookies, or opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Blocking cookies will not stop you from using the website.

6. How I share information

I do not sell or rent your personal information, and I do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. I share it only with services I need to run my business:

• Hosting and website tools: Hostinger (hosting and email tools), WordPress plugins for forms, reviews and caching.
• Google: Analytics, Tag Manager and the ad platforms you give me access to.
• Communication tools: email providers and WhatsApp (Meta), when you contact me there.
• Freelance platforms: Upwork or Fiverr, if you hire me through them. Their own privacy policies apply.
• Legal reasons: if required by law, or to protect my rights, safety or property.

If I bring in a team member or partner to help with your project, such as my agency Zyncovo, I will tell you first and they will follow the same confidentiality standards.

7. Client accounts and data

• Your ad accounts, analytics properties and data belong to you. I connect through my Google Ads manager account or as a user you add, and I never ask for your passwords.
• I treat your campaign data, customer lists, budgets and results as confidential.
• Results I show on this website or elsewhere are shared without client names or identifying details, unless you give permission.
• Customer lists you share for remarketing or Customer Match are used only in your own accounts and deleted from my side when the work is done.
• You can remove my access at any time from your account settings.

8. International transfers

I am based in Bangladesh and work with clients in the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia and elsewhere. The services I use, such as Google and Hostinger, may store data in other countries. Where the law requires it, I rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect information transferred across borders.

9. How long I keep information

• Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 24 months, then deleted.
• Client records and invoices: as long as tax and business laws require, usually up to 6 years.
• Reviews: while they are displayed, or until you ask me to remove them.
• Analytics data: according to the retention setting in Google Analytics, currently no longer than 14 months.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information I hold about you.
• Correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
• Ask me to delete your information.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Receive your information in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time.
• Complain to your local data protection authority, such as the ICO in the UK, the OPC in Canada or the OAIC in Australia.

California residents: you have the right to know, delete and correct your personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. I do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, and I will not treat you differently for using your rights.

To use any of these rights, email me. I will reply within 30 days and may need to confirm your identity first.

11. How I protect information

I use secure (HTTPS) connections, strong passwords with two-factor authentication on my accounts, limited access through manager accounts, and regular website and plugin updates. No system is completely secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect your information and will tell you promptly if a breach affects you.

12. Children’s privacy

This website and my services are meant for businesses and adults. I do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent me information, contact me and I will delete it.

13. Links to other websites

The website links to other sites, including Upwork, Fiverr, WhatsApp, Zyncovo and social media profiles. I am not responsible for how those sites handle your information, so please read their privacy policies.

14. Changes to this policy

I may update this policy when my services, tools or the law change. The latest version will always be on this page with its effective date. If a change is significant, I will make it clear on the website or tell clients directly.
